Music lovers are in for a treat, with plenty of live music on offer especially in cultural hotspots like Perth, Northbridge, Subiaco and Fremantle. You'll find music ranging from rock bands at trendy pubs to chilled-out jazz floating from wine bars and restaurants.   • Artisans' Collective WA Pop Up Handmade Market

    Floreat | Dates: 23 Aug – 16 Dec, 2017
    A monthly pop up market at Floreat Forum from June - December 2017 from 9am- 5pm. The pop up markets feature talented artists, crafts people, designers and gourmet producers, selling their handmade wares.
  • The Vahana: Vehicle of the Gods

    Midland | Dates: 27 Aug – 24 Sep, 2017
    The Vahana: Vehicle of the Gods exhibition features the work of celebrated international photographer Clare Arni at the Midland Junction Arts Centre from 27 August - 24 September. Ayyanar is a Hindu village god of Tamil Nadu mostly worshipped as a guardian deity who protects rural villages. The earliest known references are from the 3rd Century CE.
  • Horse Drawn

    Midland | Dates: 27 Aug – 24 Sep, 2017
    A celebration of the equine form through traditional drawn representation to contemporary digital methods at the Midland Junction Arts Centre from 27 August - 24 September. It includes an artist-in-residence program, an exhibition of artworks by WA artists, an exhibition of art work created in community art workshops, floor talks and demonstrations.
  • En Plein Air in the Hills

    Roleystone | Dates: 31 Aug – 24 Sep, 2017
    Trish Halloran, ione of the local artists involved in theArmadale Hills Open Studio Arts Trail, will be exhibiting and selling her En Plein Air landscape paintings at the Genesis in the Hills Cafe. Each Thursday Trish will be painting in the rustic grounds of the cafe and is calling on anyone who would like to experience painting on location, free tips offered. Bring your own art supplies and join in the fun.
