Arts and culture in Perth

Music lovers are in for a treat, with plenty of live music on offer especially in cultural hotspots like Perth, Northbridge, Subiaco and Fremantle.   • Churchlands Chamber Concert Series 2017

    See some of the West Australian Symphony Orchestra's finest in a series of classical concerts on 21 May, 14 June, 26 July, 30 August and 18 October in the acoustically spectacular Churchlands Concert Hall.

    Leading Noongar/Yamatji artist Lance Chadd, who paints under his tribal name Tjyllyungoo, will launch his new exhibition Kardamorda at the Forest Heritage Centre, Dwellingup on Sunday, July 2 at the start of Naidoc Week celebrations.

    View a selection of personal works from the Janet Holmes à Court collection at UWA's Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery from 22 July - 23 September, 11am - 5pm. Focusing on local and national art, this is a rare opportunity, giving visitors a chance to experience some of the best-loved works from a very personal collection of Australian art.
  • Milingimbi: A Living Culture

    UWA's Berndt Museum presents Milingimbi: A Living Culture ​from 28 July - 6 December in the Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery. A Living Culture celebrates art from Milingimbi Island, the largest of the Crocodile Islands located on the coast of Arnhem Land.
