Sign your kids up for something creative these school holidays with one of Fremantle Arts Centre's Kids' Courses running from 26 September to 6 October. Whether your kids like animation, pottery, drawing, fashion, felting, music, jewellery or painting, there's something fun and engaging for all ages and interests at FAC these school holidays.
In celebration of the fifth year of Proximity Festival, view over 40 unique Proximity performances which took place between 2012 - 2015 at The Blue Room Theatre, Perth Institute of Contemporary Art, Fremantle Arts Centre, and the Art Gallery of WA.
Enjoy a delicious family buffet dinner and movie night at the Atrium Garden Restaurant, Fremantle during the school holidays on Tuesday 26 September from 5.30pm. Dinner starts at 5.30pm, then settle the kids in at 6pm to watch Moana while you enjoy your own dinner.
Perth's only regular storytelling night, Barefaced Stories features WA locals, visiting interstate and international guests, and wildcards who volunteer on the night. Each storyteller takes the stage armed only with true life tales – some humorous, some sad, and some downright perverse. September’s theme is Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda.

These school holidays kids enjoy a 4km return walk along the Bibbulmun Track to a typical campsite where they learn camp cooking on Tuesday 27 September. In a beautiful bush setting children will learn camp cooking through hands-on experience and make things like damper and pizza!

In these 50-minute interactive workshop performances with WASO, children will enjoy a hands-on musical journey of instrument playing, song and dance inspired by the music of Holst's The Planets. At the conclusion of the performance, children can "Meet the Musician" to learn more about the instruments of the orchestra and the people who play them.
As part of the 140 Thursday series, a thrilling outbreak of zombies will take over the streets and laneways of the 140 precinct, owned and developed by Cbus Property, on Thursday 28 September. These upcoming school holidays will be filled with FREE popcorn, FREE zombie face painting and all things 'Michael Jackson' themed for the kids and adults alike!
